About us

Ba-Lescas Brothers Familia was born out of the love of family and culture. We are proud to serve traditional Oaxacan cuisine in Anchorage!

 

We began selling vegetables at farmers markets in 2010. In 2018, we expanded our operation to include salsas, pickled vegetables, and artisan Oaxacan foods such as tamales. You can find us selling their produce and prepared foods at markets during the summer months! 

 

We grow our vegetables without herbicides and pesticides at community garden plots around Anchorage. Our salsas and prepared foods are made by hand using produce grown in our gardens or sourced locally.
